A. In this case, you should briefly unplug power to your wireless receiver and your router (if you have one). Wait 60 seconds after restoring power and try your internet again. If you still don’t have service, try rebooting your computer. What causes this problem? We have noted this problem most often occurs after violent thunderstorms and other electrical disturbances and tends to happen more often in rural areas.
