Do Not Reverse the Cables on Your Power Wedge (PoE)
Low voltage power is supplied to your internet receiver, and reversing the cables on its power supply can damage your receiver, your computer, or other electronics.

Do Not Use a Wireless Router without Security Enabled
Using a wireless router without security enabled can allow others to connect to your internet.  This can cause performance issues with your service and can be a security risk for your computers.  If you fail to configure security on your wireless router, you may be in violation of SwiftLink ?Terms of Use?.

Do Not Share Your Internet Service with Your Neighbors
This is a security risk and a direct violation of SwiftLink ?Terms of Use? and applicable laws.  Only persons on your premises may use your internet connection.

Do Not Attempt to Service Your Wireless Receiver or Related Equipment
Your SwiftLink wireless receiver and related equipment is not user serviceable and is to be maintained by qualified technicians only.  If service is required, please phone our office.

Do Not Leave Virus Infected Computers Connected
Virus infections can spread quickly by email and other means, so if you suspect you have a virus, discontinue using the machine, power it down and/or disconnect it from the internet, and have it serviced by a qualified technician.  Adware, Spyware, and Popups can also be a security risk for you, and you should have your computer serviced as soon as possible for your own safety.
