SwiftLink Communications is pleased to
announce that Viaero Wireless, a thriving customer-oriented
mid-western based cellular carrier, will now be serving areas of
Southeast Nebraska and Northeast Kansas. The Colorado based cellular
firm has invested millions of dollars constructing cellular towers in
the area in the past several months. GSM cellular technology has
been chosen as the platform to deliver service to the region. This
technology is in many ways superior to the existing primarily CDMA
cellular networks in the area, promising fewer dropped calls and
better compatibility with different phones.
Worldwide, GSM technology is used in a
ratio of nearly 10 to 1 verses CDMA technology that is currently
prevalent in the area. Possibly the greatest advantage to this
technology is the inter-compatibility between phones. Information,
contacts and the service itself can be transferred between phones by
simply removing the SIM card from your current phone and installing
it in your new one. In contrast, competing networks have phones that
are proprietary and have to be “programmed” to work on their
network. This process usually involves a clumsy transfer of your
contacts and an exhausting activation procedure when switching to a
new phone.
SwiftLink Communications, a Falls City,
Nebraska based technology firm, has been working with the company for
nearly three years to establish service and a sales presence in the
area. Their technicians and employees are ecstatic to finally see
their plan come to fruition, and are truly excited for the residents
of Richardson and Brown counties, who will now have another choice
for their cellular service.
President of SwiftLink, Andrew T.
Strasil, congratulates Viaero Wireless on the the company's recent
advancements and would like to express his sincere appreciation for
their investment in our communities. Himself, along with his techs
and employees, will be receiving interested parties and signing up
new customers at their Falls City, NE location.
